I’d sometimes go home from work with so many cuts, burns, and ruined clothes that I’d spend HUNDREDS of dollars a month just to replace clothing sometimes. I’d go to torch cut rebar, and fixate SO HARD on the tiny little section of bar I’m cutting that I’d ignore the searing hot pain from molten slag splashback hitting me all in the arms, hands, neck, legs, whatever. NOTHING ELSE mattered, JUST making the PERFECT CUT.
