According to a new study by Luxury France Tours, Miami ranked first among 50 major U.S. cities after being evaluated across 23 metrics tied to festive appeal, affordability, traditions, and community spirit. The Sunshine State standout earned top marks for its abundance of holiday-friendly amenities, from bakeries and gift shops to Christmas décor stores and toy shops, all easily accessible for residents and visitors alike. The study also highlighted Miami’s unique warm-weather twist on the season, with a high number of vacation rentals offering indoor fireplaces and hot tubs—creating a “winter vibe” without the cold. While Atlanta and Las Vegas took the second and third spots respectively, other cities like Minneapolis, Boston, Seattle, and Tampa also made the top ten, each praised for their unique mix of shopping, seasonal activities, and community spirit. Although cities such as New York and Los Angeles landed near the bottom due to higher costs and fewer amenities per resident, the rankings showcase a diverse range of places across the U.S. where holiday cheer shines brightest.
