Deborah Findlater curates our next screening The Darker Side of Black this Friday August 12th in Brighton UK at the Phoenix Art Space. This screening will be a rare opportunity to view the work of Isaac Julien, and witness why the work is a vital intervention in dismantling patriarchy within Blackness. Following the film there will be a conversation with Chloe Filani discussing how issues it raises persist today and what if any changes have occurred. - Access: This talk will have a BSL interpreter.
