Ring in the Lunar New Year this Sunday with our mouthwatering shrimp and pork potstickers, crisped to perfection using 100% pure avocado oil. πŸ₯Ÿβœ¨πŸ‡ #LunarNewYear #Potstickers #AvocadoOil Ingredients 5 oz shrimp, peeled and deveined 1⁄2 tsp kosher salt 1 tsp ginger, grated 1 large clove garlic, grated 1⁄2 cup minced sauteed mushrooms 2 tbsp green onion, thinly sliced 1⁄2 lb ground pork 1 tbsp soy sauce 1⁄2 tsp toasted sesame oil 1 tsp rice wine vinegar 1⁄2 tsp mirin 1⁄2 tsp honey 1 tsp cornstarch 1 tbsp Chosen Foods Avocado Oil Dipping Sauce 2 tbsp tamari or soy sauce 1 tsp toasted sesame oil 1 tsp @cienchiles The JalapanΜƒo hot sauce or your favorite hot sauce 1 tsp green onion, thinly sliced 1 tsp fresh chili peppers 1⁄2 lemon, juiced Directions 1. Add shrimp and a pinch of salt into a food processor and process on high for 15-20 seconds. 2. Add ginger, garlic, diced mushrooms, green onions, ground pork, soy sauce, toasted sesame oil, rice wine vinegar, mirin and cornstarch. Process all ingredients on low for 30 seconds and then on high for another 30 seconds. 3. Place in a bowl and start assembling the potstickers. Grab a wonton wrapper and brush water around the perimeter of the wrapper. Add a heaping teaspoon of the filling and fold the wrapper in half over it, resembling a half-moon shape. Pinch one of the ends and with your index finger make small pleats along one side, until the filling is tightly inside the dumpling. Repeat the process until all the filling is used. 4. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, toasted sesame oil, hot sauce, green onion, chili peppers and lemon juice. Set aside for serving. 5. Place a large pan over medium heat, pour in avocado oil, allow a few seconds so the oil warms up, and gently add the dumplings, seam side up. When they start getting some color (about 2-3 mins) pour in 1⁄2 cup water and cover immediately. Steam for 3-4 minutes. Uncover and crisp up the potstickers. The steam will cook the filling and wrapper, giving you the best potsticker ever!
