17,025 trees planted in Thailand🌲🎉 These native tree species were planted to restore 92.39 hectares of land across four districts within Surat Thani. Thailand is home to more than 10% of the world’s animals, including more than 285 species of mammals, like the iconic sun bear. More than 15% of these species are threatened or endangered in the wild. Unsustainable agriculture practices have degraded Thailand's landscapes for decades, destroying forests and habitats. Planting native trees here can help restore the soil, support watersheds, and enhance habitat and biodiversity.🌲🐘🐅 Forests are an essential part of our planet’s carbon and water cycles. Trees can release hundreds of liters of water in one day as they grow! Healthy trees absorb carbon dioxide and keep the climate stable.
