I’m all for the fancy stuff. . I love me some science. . We can manipulate tempos to bias muscle fiber recruitment. We can sequence exercises for better motor control. We can test and retest to make sure we’re prescribing the right intensity level for conditioning too. . But sometimes I just like to gut check with simple pull-ups and push-ups. . When training gets hard you may have to gut straight through. Or you may have to adjust your stance a bit. You may have to adjust your grip. . But don’t give your ground. . Don’t give let your body flail to just survive the movement or workout. . Adjust if you need to but grip and pull in. . Sort of like life. . . . . . . . #sandiegopersonaltrainer
