MAAC Team Update!! 👋🏽 Wanted take a second and introduce everyone to the team behind @menaadvocacy & let everyone know our Founder and President @azitagram will be taking a step back in June to focus on her Broadway Debut in the Kite Runner. But we’ve built an incredible MENA female led team here over the last couple years, that will continue looking after our partnerships, community outreach, programs, education and more! Serina Khan working on our partnerships and programs , with Roxy Shabestari coordinating alongside her! Christine Mascolo, our Executive assistant with Isabel Grigoryan as a special project assistant & Nadia Azizi as our volunteer!! Dr. Evelyn Alsultany & Dr. Tom Dolan both remaining as our Academic Advisors overseeing upcoming education & research needs. We also have began planning initiatives with a growing group of Ambassadors to the org that we can’t wait to introduce you all to. We aren’t even halfway through this year, but we’ve been busy providing actionable ways to increase MENA-AAPI on-screen and behind the scenes with industry leaders. And we continue to see our MAAC Database growing as an industry wide resource to help connect authentic MENA/SA voices to hiring execs. Our database will serve as a launch pad for upcoming workshops and opportunities with our industry partners.
