World Air Travel Summit with J Lo in Doha, Qatar. This place is unlike any other I've been. As is every place. Beautiful in its own right. I hope I get to come here again, meet the beautiful people here ive conversed with in such short passing again, learn more and dive deeper into this part of the world. Inshallah. Heart open. I nabbed this quote from a documentary about Qatar on the flight home, heard this narration, and had to write it down. "To know how far a land stretches you have to use more than your eyes; you will have to use all your senses only then you will truly know. Wherever you journey we all look for the same things. A fleeting moment of natural wonder. A place youve never seen before. An open door that makes your heart beat faster. A landscape that takes your breath way. A view that makes you stop and marvel. Even in the small details of life, the things unchanged for thousands of years, or just the sun, the sun on your face. And as you journey you understand that history has in it the scent of the past. The sounds you hear today just might be the sounds ancestors made. The touch of your fingers - the same touch as a thousand yesterdays ago. You see that reverence is timeless that the soul reaches upwards. That wherever you go, you are never a stranger, just a friend not yet met. That a meal is not a meal unless its shared. And sometimes as you journey you want to go further, deeper, to be overwhelmed, to spoil yourself, to spoil those you love, to be with new friends and to see life through their eyes, to hear their stories, to share their soul."
