Washington Institute of Dermatologic Laser Surgery and Dr. Tina Alster are excited to welcome Dr. Neelam Khan @drneelykhan to the team! Dr. Khan is a Board-certified Dermatologist specializing in cosmetic and medical dermatology. She returns to Washington, DC after being in private practice in her hometown of Memphis, TN. Dr. Khan attended Vanderbilt University for her undergraduate degree, completed a research fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania, and obtained both her Masters of Science and Doctorate of Medicine at Georgetown University School of Medicine. She completed her internship at Medstar Washington Hospital Center, before pursuing her dermatology residency at SUNY Downstate in New York City. During residency, she developed her passion for cosmetic dermatology and spent time cultivating a holistic, evidence-based approach to aesthetics, facial rejuvenation, and body contouring by working directly with key leaders in the field. Dr. Khan is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and American Society for Laser Medicine. She also serves on leadership committees for both the Women’s Dermatologic Society and Skin of Color Society.
