Remember to leave no trace 🚮 Watch wildlife! Elk are bugling and wildlife is abundant here. This is a very popular area to birdwatch, as well! Always be respectful of wildlife, and watch your speed/the road in areas where wildlife is frequently present. Highway 260 (Past Hon-Dah Casino), SR 273 & 373 are absolutely wonderful routes! Take a drive and enjoy the bursting gold of the aspens! Big Lake (and other surrounding lakes) is beautiful! Aspens line the roads, and the mornings are crisp and cool! Sunrises in the mountains are just stunning! Wake up and hit the road for a sunrise among the pines! I recently stayed at @corduroylodge in Pinetop, and talk about CUTE!
