The concept of my fairy character Flora from my upcoming single “Wildflower” came to me about 4 years ago. I wanted to somehow communicate the struggles of self discovery and self acceptance in the terrifying yet exciting way that it grows in all of us. Wildflower is all about that war within our minds. Flora in her fairy form is the embodiment of the chaos, mania and turmoil within that journey. The idea of something “other” pulling within herself and making its way into the material world is what sends her into the rabbit hole of her own personal story. Is she changing or has this been hiding within her all along?
