@sophiabush and @grant_hughes_ kicked off their big weekend @lowoodtulsa. Each dish highlighted local fare from farms in #Oklahoma. Laughter & tears marked the evening as two members of both the bride & groom’s wedding parties gave speeches. Bridesmaid @babs_ spoke about how Sophia & Grant gather community; how theirs has merged to grow everyone’s chosen family. After dinner they welcomed all of their guests on Lowood’s patio. Reunions paralleled new friendships as everyone danced to local band The Green Horns. In addition to craft cocktails by @diageo, the bar was filled with natural wines, from Grant’s @drinkgoodwine.club chosen with local @provisionsok. The Folk Machine, Gamay — which pays tribute to Woodie Guthrie! — was a favorite of @ninafarran's, while Grant and Sophia enjoyed the Il Mostro pet nat. Grant & Sophia's parents gave heartfelt speeches about the couple's respective childhoods — each of them only children who loved books & outer space — and the evolution of their love story, brought together by community service. And the fashion! Sophia chose a fit and flare ivory mini dress pointed-toe mules. The chic outfit & timeless hair and makeup by @afton (swipe to end for the getting ready BTS!) were the perfect foundation for jewels. Sophia selected tennis necklaces by @OrandElle, a new addition to our #FashionkindFamily, as the main focus.
