The Big Day finally arrived this weekend when the 300 SLR Uhlenhaut Coupe left its home of 67 years. It was emotional for everyone, none more so than Uwe, the modest mechanic behind the wheel who with his two colleagues has looked after it for almost half of its life. Luckily there was time for one last drive and, Germany being Germany, we asked him to show us what it could do....
