Mi Chiquitito is officially ONE years old. A year ago you were brought into this world, and even though we didn’t know you existed just yet...our hearts were so ready for you. Mi Oscar bello, my baby boy, there are no words to describe the love I feel for you. You taught me a form of unconditional love I never knew existed. You shower us with love every second of your life, offering your affection expecting nothing in return. I really believe that you found us, you pulled us in when we least expected it. The second you entered our lives you filled an emptiness we never knew we had. In your mere year of life, you’ve already taught me so much. You’ve taught me that the simple things are the big ones. The morning kisses, the feeling of sand in between your feet (or paws), the sheer joy of driving with the windows down. You’ve taught me that success and achievements aren’t found in material possessions or accolades, but found in love. So, to one of the great loves of my life: happy birthday.
