I am so grateful to have been a part (while 6 months pregnant!) of this project showing two women journey to a mystical River as they search for healing. This quest to find relief from the void of a lost loved one leads them to discover the strength that comes through community & faith. The piece features spoken word, live vocals, and four performers dancing a blend of contemporary dance movements influenced by techniques of the African Diaspora.
