I went my whole life thinking people were saying “I have a stigmatism” until I developed astigmatism and I found out it’s one word 🙃 They told me my eyes look real great otherwise and my only real affliction is not being able to drive at night so well. So you can think of me as kind of like the opposite of a vampire. Plus, I got to see really neat photographs of my eyeballs on a big monitor so that was swell.
