Although The Hub in Escolta has been around for ages, I don't frequent the place. Yesterday -- only my second time to be there -- I finally got a good look at my toon Miki Blue. Ergo, a pic courtesy of Franco Brobio. The first time I saw the toon was in June 2024 after a playtest of my game Stakeholding at 98B. But i didn't have a chance to look at it closely since I needed to run and catch the train already. Zeus Bascon sent me the second photo just a few weeks ago. ---- Images 3 and 4 from Abbey in 2022. A bit of history: Miki Blue at The Hub found was part of a project initiated by artist Abbey Batocabe. It was during the tail end of the pandemic lockdown and I couldn't travel to the place to physically be there to paint it. So there's Abbey to save the day. @abbeyromina 🙂
