I want to thank all of you who reached out to me over the past few days to make sure me and my family are safe from Hurricane Ian🌀. Apologies to anyone who has not yet heard back from us - we lost power, internet, all cell phone service and the ability to communicate with anyone on the outside. We just got our power and internet back online, and we are learning about the SEVERE destruction not only in Naples, but Fort Myers, Punta Gorda, Sanibel, etc. We are safe, did not suffer any flooding or structural damage to the house (minus a tree through the lanai). LOTS of trees down and tons of debris to clean up, but we are giving thanks 🙏 Our hearts and prayers go out to the people of Naples and SW FL who lost their homes, and the 23 people who lost their lives. One thing we’ve learned about Floridians since we’ve moved here - they are among the MOST resilient people we’ve ever met. ❤️🙏
