So very happy to have rejoined Santa Barbara Vintners Festival for the first time in many years. It was good to be back with Cookie aside our good friends @industrialeats. It was fantastic to see the very talented and all grown-up @clendenenknox of @aubonclimat and son of @jimclendenen and @marisamatela formerly of ABC (and @fulloflifefoods!) and ready for her next adventure! @jilliana.davie and I then took a breather and we’re fully nourished at the incredible @coastrangerestaurant. It’s funny working wine and food festivals, if your truly engaged as a participant you rarely get to taste anything. During a 15+ deep line @badassbasecamp observed me in my element and simply commented “you are head-down serious business!” 1600 Flatbread slices later and a few hundred @tuttifruttifarmsca Heirloom Tomato and Burrata Caprese Salads later, we were ready for some nourishment!
