It's Women in Translation Month! Started by Meytal Radzinski (@readwit), #WITmonth is "an annual celebration of women writers from around the world, writing in languages other than English." Only 30% of translated literature is written by women. (And only about 3% of literature published in the US is translated from another language, but that's a totally different conversation.) Vietnamese literature translated into English is also very underrepresented.
