I didn’t know things like ⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️ ☞ How to start a business [because you are essentially creating a startup company] ☞ How to get clients in my chair and make a sustainable profit [no recent grad knows what Target Marketing is or a Sales Funnel] ☞ That over 70% of Cosmetology Grads won’t be in the industry in 3 years [because it’s hard to be successful without the right help] 📣 You have to embrace the suck and put in the work 📣 POST-BEAUTY SCHOOL, your confidence is HIGH but your competency is LOW. When you start to learn more about doing hair & the beauty business you realize how much you DON’T know. Things get hard. And this is usually the point where baby stylists give up 😔 ✨ Here’s a secret — if you just held on a little longer… if you let yourself push through the resistance… Work through the tough stuff… Failed repeatedly… Feel stupid once in a while… You eventually come out on top. Find a great mentor. Be the assistant. Sweep the hair. Wash the towels. Throw yourself into education. Be prepared to fall 10x. Be prepared to get up 11x.
