My only journalism award — until now! — was for a totally forgettable LISTICLE called, no joke, “Am I really shrinking?” 👵🏼 (The story, about whether and why you really lose height with age, included a few quotes from an orthopedist, and so the orthopedist society was thrilled and gave me an award 😆🩻 🎖️That was 9 years ago.) So I’m pleased two pieces I *actually* poured a ton of work and care into last year have been recognized by the venerable American Society of Journalists and Authors. 🙏🏼 Thanks @asjahq, & my editors @juliasedelstein & @currie_inahurry! 🙌🏼
