As far back as I can remember, I have been a hairstylist. It's been a long ride. I have seen our industry do a lot of things. Develop trends, bring back old ones, some are timeless, some you can see and know what year it was. And I have loved it all. But one thing I can say I have loved the most is the uprising of what's happening in our industry. We are finding our worth, taking charge of our time, and leveling up the profession, and I'm so happy to be a part of it. I feel we are supporting each other more. We are paying attention to setting more boundaries and paving the way for an even more lucrative run for the next generation of amazing hairstylists to come.
