This is 30. Sunflowers have not only always been my favorite flower because they are bright, beautiful & how insanely big they can grow but they just so happen to be Leo’s birth flower. If you know me I’m a Leo to a T from my loyalty to my over opinionated self. This marks my 13th annual birthday shoot & my 6th shot by my best friend @elisabethorourke . I use to be scared of 30. It’s a new decade & as a woman there is a lot of negativity towards getting older. But in reality I’ve never felt more confident & happy in my personal + professional life. Which I realize is shocking to say. I know my stories post the highlights but I’ve spent all my life for whatever unknown reason feeling undeserving, hating my body, depressed + anxiety filled. Recently I was talking to a friend & she mentioned how I had all these amazing cool people in my life & I couldn’t agree more but for the first time I thought wow they picked me to be in their life too. This chapter has just felt different. It’s not perfect but I’m growing. I thank all of you for coming on this journey with me. Dirty 30 & thriving.
