!!️ PREP UPDATE !!️
It’s been a few weeks since I gave you guys an update but be rest assured, this mama over here has been working hard 🙋🏼♀️
So while I still have a ways to go, and I am DEF not looking as lean as I usually am at this point to stage, I have to remind myself that I have only been lifting again for the past 4 weeks and the first 2 of those were body weight and light loads only. Rehab post C-section was my main focus in my first mesocycle.
I’ve really only started to load some proper weight again in the past week, as I was only just cleared to really start “sending it” on Monday after a successful 12PP pelvic floor and ab checkup 😝💪🏽
So how are we looking at 10 weeks out from the stage?
Still got a way to go but I was pretty darn happy with my check in this week 🎉
✅ In the last week I’ve dropped 6.3mm & increased muscle mass AGAIN 🥳
(Since prep started I have had a total loss of 22.8mm and 1.8kgs - with some solid recomp at the start).
Main areas of loss this week were abs and back. Key areas where mass has increased is legs 👊🏽
So what’s the plan of attack this next week?
👉🏽A very small adjustment in calories and macros after last weeks big drop 🫠
👉🏽Cardio is now 2 x CycleBar classes per week and 3 x post weights LISS 🚲
👉🏽Step count now at 13.5k daily 🦶
👉🏽Daily “burn” target of 650-700cals 😮💨
I am actually feeling super impressed with my body and all that it’s achieved and healed through. I am turning up everyday and feeling more and more like myself again! It’s really quite liberating and I feel like this stage will mean more to me than any that have come before it.
Certainly dealing with daily struggles and challenges that come with being a mama to a little bub and trying to “get it done” but whilst this is an entirely different prep experience to what I’ve been used to, I wouldn’t change it for the world ☺️🌎
