I’ve had this shoot in my head for moooonths but have been couch ridden with zero energy. After taking my first treatment yesterday I’m already feeling a little more energy so I finally did it! As for the theme of the shoot, spoons are a metaphor for people with chronic illness. The idea is, that each day you wake up with a certain amount of spoons, and every activity in a day costs so many spoons. As someone with chronic illness, some times you wake up without any or very few “spoons”, and everything feels impossible. Shout out to all the #spoonies out there!
