We're a Brooklyn distillery, but we have roots through our distiller Colin Spoelman in the moonshine country of Eastern Kentucky, which suffered terrible floods last July. One of the great cultural institutions in our country is Appalshop, which hosts filmmakers, musicians, theater, a radio station and record label that seeks to preserve the eccentricities and beauty of Appalachian life. Their archives, filled with priceless film, video, and audio recordings were submerged and they need help preserving as much as can be saved.
