3 yrs ago, I saw a Harpy Eagle in Brazil, taking me to half the world’s birds. I’m finally birding again, this time for 30 days in Oaxaca, Mexico. 10 days in, I’ve seen lots of stunning birds. This is a Dwarf Jay, my 5,500th world bird. I have already learnt so much about the biodiversity crisis taking place in Mexico sending endemic birds into extinction that we don’t know about.
