#TBT Taro thousand layer mooncakes that I made 8 years ago before they got popular enough to have an English name so I just called them taro swirl mooncakes 🌀 I also called them Taiwanese on my blog because I had only ever had them in Taiwan, but I’ve been seeing this style of mooncakes labelled as Teochew- and Chaoshan-style as well.
