Our @_camerongp episode is proving to.be a real favourite with you guys. His fast five is one of our favourites too. It touches on some different parts of the production process and brings some new bits to the TPOP table. Favourite Studio - No shade on UK studios, but all the good studios are in America. I was fortunate to do a session at @electricladystudios and that is next level. It was such a vibe. The way the whole building is kitted out and designed. It’s very cool. It’s so exquisitely selected. Favourite Compressor - Do you know what I love. Naughty plug ins that do quite aggressive things. There’s this compressor called VulfComp by @goodhertz . I love it on a bright pop vocal. It sort of rounds it off a little bit and makes it feel a little bit alt. Favourite Piece of Hardware - The 1176 to be honest. And I use it on everything. It’s so familiar. Favourite Synth - I went on a real quest for the best vocoder plug in a while ago and the one that I’m loving at the moment is I think called Manipulator. 9/10 times if people want a vocoder they reference Middle by Z, but this plug in by @polyversemusic gets the closest to this and it’s not too complex. Favourite Microphone - I would say the C800, because whenever someone is not on the C800 I think “I wish I had the C800!
