I almost didn’t want to do an engagement shoot. I was worried they’d come out corny and I had this idea that an “older” bride should do things quietly and under the radar. But I’m so glad I went against that first thought and belief. Love deserves celebration, love deserves celebration, love deserves celebration. It is a miracle to find it, why not mark it in time? Anytime I feel something is “corny”, I think that just means I need to do some inner investigation. So last week, we headed down to the waterfront to capture some save-the-dates for Jack and I. It only makes it that much more special as we were mere steps away from where my own father asked my mom to be his wife.
