After two and a half years of evasion, I am sad to report that I have tested positive for covid. Sadly we have to cancel tonight’s appearance at Montreal Jazz Fest, and our shows at Winnipeg Folk Festival, Mariposa, and Northern Lights. This is a huge loss and heartbreaker as I was so looking forward to those shows. In the meantime, I’ll be resting and hoping to recover in time for the rest of our summer. Apologies to anyone who hoped to see us, I hope we will be able to play these festivals again soon. 💔 (Also as intel for any covid watchers, as it turns out, you can catch it from outdoor hangs, and also I had a negative PCR two days before a positive rapid, so beware - this is a sneaky variant)
