In honor of World Alzheimer’s Awareness Month, I was lucky enough to talk to legendary TV writer, David Milch on @todayshow. Milch was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, and shares his story of his diagnosis, his addictions, and his work, in an absolutely breathtaking new memoir, “Life’s Work.” As I sat down with David and his wife, Rita, I was truly struck by him saying how lucky he is. What a reminder to us all, even if we don’t like the cards we are dealt, even if thinks aren’t always going are way, we can still have hope. We can still have luck.
