This holiday season, we partnered with @kpthrive and @literatikids to ensure that Oakland students had plenty of new books to read and enjoy with their families. During our #ChristmaswiththeCurrys event, our @eatlearnplay Bus and onsite book fair were stocked with a diverse collection of children’s books for each of the 500 families in attendance to take home. We also partnered with Kaiser to deliver 100,000 books in Literati-designed gift boxes to 20,000 Oakland Unified School District students across 41 elementary schools. We are grateful to Kaiser and Literati for their continued support in helping us encourage kids to read by making it accessible, fun and inspirational.
