I was on the plane and the flight attendant came up to me and said (not very discreetly) “I just realized who you are - I’m a big fan!” And the lady sitting next to me (also quite loudly) said “I don’t know who you are!” She was an incredibly friendly woman with an Indian accent. “Are you famous?” She asked. I demurred but she persisted and said “Ok I am going to google you.” She then texted her husband that she was sitting next to a famous actor and he texted back: “Is he handsome?” We laughed and she said “but what have you been in? Anything I would have seen?” And I couldn’t help it - Long Weekend was staring me in the face on the airline’s Home Screen, and I pointed to it and said “we’ll that’s me there...” And she said “is that a Rom-Com? I love Rom-Coms!” And she proceeded to watch the whole thing. When it was over she tapped me on the shoulder (I was watching Kong VS Godzilla for the record) and said very sincerely “that was a good one. That was a good one.” I really regret that I don’t know her name because she gave me one of the best stories I’ve ever had on a flight. #memories @longweekend_movie
