I am so glad to have exited my “romanticizing my twenties” era. I spent almost my entire thirties wishing I could go back to that time, and honestly? Fuck that. I love me. I don’t want to go back to that skinny idiot who valued pants size over the quality of her character. I’ve got cellulite. I’ve got a mom pooch that I’m pretty sure is just here with me now. But I’m strong enough to play with my kids. Balanced enough to not tip over when the ground gets shaky. Grounded enough to know who I am and what I’m worth.
