A week ago today June 23, 2022 I made my BROADWAY DEBUT in @potusbway It was an INCREDIBLE experience. Artistically to be able to play with such talented and generous artists was a ridiculous embarrassment of riches. To then do the thing and say all the lines ON BROADWAY in front of Familia, chosen-Familia, and supporters was indescribable and I wish the feeling for everyone. Self-pride, gratitude, fear, exhilaration, weepy mess, incandescent ancestors, the fury of all women, and the simple kindness of humanity, I felt it all mi gente!! This show is so so fierce and appropriate to the moment to this time and I was honored to help make it go. Big thank you to the producers, cast, crew, my standby amazons, wardrobe, SMs, Covid compliance, and security for helping make the night even better than a dream.
