Heartbroken to hear the news about Franco Harris. One of the best nights of my life was dinner with both our families in the Burgh. He shared stories I’m certain he’d told a million times but made each one sound fresh. His warmth was contagious and I’ve never seen my dad happier. Growing up, you think your sports heroes are gods but if you’re lucky you find out they’re something even better - kind and loving human beings.
