Driving through a tropical paradise of 620 curves, 59 bridges, and waterfalls on the Road to Hana, is not for the faint of heart. The one-line highway led to Wai'anapanapa State Park, where we saw the black sand beach made from lava flowing from the Haleakala volcano into the sea.
