Posted @withregram • @hairby.nikole 🧵 How to END your HTW ⚓️ Do your closed blanket stitch the whole way until you get to the last pocket of hair on the other side. To end & anchor your hand-tied weft: Start in the first pocket of hair on the outside of the first bead, then work your way towards the 3rd pocket of hair. Step 1: Working in the 1st pocket of hair: pass your needle through the pocket of hair then underneath the top of the weft and do a lock stitch. (Go ahead and do a second lock stitch if you feel like you need to lay down that Edge better) (To do a lock stitch pass your need through the two threads and pull tight) Repeat 🔁 Step 1 in the 2nd and 3rd pockets of hair. To finish and tie off your HTW bring your need about half way through under the weft; over the 3rd lock stitch: wrap the thread around your needle 3 x’s then slowly pull towards you (this is a slip knot 🪢) after you have done your slip knot you will then do 3 regular ties to secure the bag 😉 clip the tail and you’re done! 😚 I love ending this way because I’m not using any adhesive. #bellamihair #bellamihairpro #educatorcontentjune2022 #teambellami #wefts #handtiedextensions #hairvideos #haireducation #blessed #wcw #hairextension #extensions #sewin #handtiedwefts #haittip #hairvideo
