I always knew this day would come...and I still woke up feeling overwhelmed and severely unprepared for all of the stress and sadness that comes with moving. But now, sitting on the plane (already having bawled once, still very sad and can be in tears at any given moment), I also feel a strong sense of humbling gratitude. Gratitude to have been able to call Seattle my home. For the people who became my second family when I was so far away from my own. Gratitude to have been able to make it to the airport in time and smoothly checking in with our dog for the first time...the list goes on. I’m sad to be leaving, but so excited to begin this next chapter of life. Thank you to everyone who made my time in Seattle special, I appreciate you all so very much. And a very special thank you to @smgmodels for believing in me and supporting me. Seattle will always have a special place in my heart, and after nearly 7 years of being so far, I’m finally moving back home to the east coast. New York, here we come!🍎
