Self portraits (like this one😜) are my favorite portraits because there is no witness to the absurdity. No observers. When I take self portraits it starts and ends with me and there is no one else there to direct, encourage or validate what is happening. I usually end up laughing a lot at myself because I know how silly the circumstance is. “Who is that girl in the middle of the salt flats wearing a cape shivering on the ground?? Is she licking the salt? Damn, she really went there...” I am never bored. I have so many ideas and get so excited about life that the hardest part of the day is almost always knowing when to stop to eat and sleep. I have a strange brain and adhd is a part of it’s package. In some ways it makes life challenging but in many ways I like to think it’s a superpower 🦸‍♀️
