17 years ago I walked into @pottershousedc and asked who booked shows there. @maryshapiromusic came popping out from the offices and took a chance on me, my music, and my voice - making it the first place I ever performed. . Thank you Mary, The Potters House, and the city of DC. You were the first to embrace me, nourish me, encourage me, & challenge me. There is no me without you.
