it's been so magical to see all the support and community rallying that comes with october and breast cancer awareness / attention / fundraising and really just talking about something many otherwise felt very uncomfortable sharing years ago. I really want to make an effort to make all the other cancers as visible as possible so everyone with such a challenging illness can feel that same degree of support and encouragement--both those with these challenges but also those of loved ones. I know people have their opinions on medical professionals on social media, symbolism of any kind shared with community and industry alike, but at the end of the day I hope and do believe it puts both positive and productive energy into the world. I learned this week in an atypical and humbling way the precariousness of our finite time in this world. and it reinforced my belief to be fervent, with your intentions. not the perceptions--wherever they will always inevitably fall--on any and all issues in life. ultimately, you hold the accountability for your intentions. and if they are good, be fervent. #breastcancerawarenessmonth
