Tess Roby’s brilliant new album is out today. When @tessroby first approached me asking to play drums on her songs, I was literally brought to tears listening to her demos. She has a rare and uncanny honesty in her music that rewards those who listen. Working together with Tess on this album was a great pleasure and a big learning experience for me. Tess knows exactly what she wants as an artist and is somehow uncompromising with her vision while staying open to collaboration. I highly encourage everyone to give this record a spin. My involvement on this album scaled from recording and playing my drums, to programming beats, to engineering vocal tracking, pianos and synths to eventually mixing the album.
