On March 1st, 2022 a dream came true. As of this week, HBO Max will be streaming a story close to our hearts. A story incredible personal to me and to so many others... That story is our film, “Welcome Back.” When I set out to tell this story, one I knew wouldn’t be easy to tell, I had a so many obstacles ahead of me. But because of the many individuals, who helped by donating their time, their resources, their talent, or their love... this film became possible. Knowing the hardship the world faces today, it is clearer than ever stories like this need to be told. All in all, yes immigration isn’t simple, but compassion can be. The world may not be fair, but using our voice is the best weapon we have to fight for it to be.
