I remember the first time really hearing The Beatles. I remember hearing All You Need is Love and it changing something for me. I have heard music, read books, and seen movies all at the perfect times in my life. I’m thankful that I was able to hear The Beatles at one of those perfect times. Around that time, I remember thinking how beautiful it would be to show everybody love. How important it is and how insanely easy it is to try to make people feel loved. That’s been the goal ever since. Having the opportunity to make a portrait of Ringo who has influenced my life so strongly is a surreal experience and I’m endlessly thankful for it. I took this frame on Fuji FP100-C. I peeled it a part and loved it so much. I brought the photo to Ringo’s green room and told him that we had to collaborate. I told him that the photo was my art and I wanted a piece of his on the back. He drew a little self portrait.
