What an incredible opportunity. This organization is rooted in selflessness and the development of others, and it has completely changed my perspective on leadership, friendship, and mentorship. My time as a counselor and now a chair has inspired personal growth that cannot be replicated. I have witnessed and felt the value of investing your all into those around you, and the clarity you gain from shifting your focus to the betterment of others. The growth I’ve experienced, the friendships I’ve created, and the memories I’ve made have forever changed me, and I feel so lucky to have been given the ultimate opportunity this year to give back to the organization that gave me everything. My chair year has been the most rewarding time of my life, and I wish I could bottle this feeling forever.
