In her woven abstract vision — a proposal for a connected, collaborative and caring society — artist Yelena Popova (@yelena_popova) encourages us to create more networks and plant more trees. Yelena Popova’s installation in Meta’s London office considers how patterns prevalent in nature, like a honeycomb, can evolve, develop, reach out and embrace. Taking inspiration from the underground “social” networks that connect plant life in forests, the knotted symbolism of the Celtic Tree of Life and computer motherboards, Yelena shares her vision for a more deeply connected society.
