Upcycle Project is now in the t-shirt making business, but the creative, circular, innovative kind. The primary purpose of the t-shirt line is to replace the use of virgin materials with 100% recycled cotton and recycled plastic water bottles, saving energy, water and preventing more waste from entering landfills. We hope to create alliances with brands and organizations, including universities, public service entities, and anyone still making t-shirts “the old way.” Upcycle Project is not here to shame us for our t-shirt wearing habits; it’s here to provide a resourceful alternative to make our beloved basics in a way that is kind to the environment.
